In the rural areas where owning a car is essential to get to work, shop and attend hospital appointments etc., fuel prices should not be increased. Adding more fuel tax to the price of a litre of petrol should not be allowed. The situation in towns & cities is somewhat different as public transport is an option providing it also keeps it's prices affordable to the customer.

Every attempt that the Government makes should indeed be meet by opposition from the people it serves. This Government needs to sit up and listen to the people ...

NO CUTS IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE BUS FUNDING

Last week I didn't get the opportunity to find time to post my latest weekly blog. So this week I'm planning on putting two blogs on my blogsite ... so here's the first one all about not cutting back on our public transport buses combined with a petition which I would like all my readers to sign and invite other friends & family to do likewise.

Once you've downloaded it you can then sign it and then take a look at 2 other links giving some background information which will help you understand the importance of saving the buses from being cut.

We believe that the County Council should not make any cuts in funding subsidies to predominately rural bus routes. These routes are vital lifelines to many rural pensioners who no longer drive or own a car, and also the unemployed people looking for work that can't afford taxi's to attend interviews for example. Also our teenage children that may need to use the buses to get to about after school or even to attend college's in places like Cambridge.

Please remember that not everyone owns a car in the country and the bus is their only way of getting about to do their shopping, attend hospital & doctor's appointments and to go out to meet friends & family. Spare a thought for this portion of our society ... before making any cutbacks to the Public Transport system.

Shame on Manchester City Council, this is a total outrage.
The planning department at the City Council should of never
given permission to allow these graves to be knocked to pieces
and crushed in such an appaulling and insensitive manner.

Why on earth is this being allowed just to make way for a car park and to turn this into a place for muslims to have a mosque to worship in. What's wrong with the British people just rolling over
and letting this happen ...?

Where's the front page news regarding this ... ? How come our own elected politicians, have allowed Islam to take such a hold in this country ... ? Why our we as a nation allowing this to happen on our own doorstep ... ?

Is it because ... this does not really matter anymore ... ?

Please ask yourself, what do you think about what really matters ... ? To live in a country with christian principles ... or ... an Islamic nation that's bent on forcing their religion upon us ... ?

Tell me ... Do you really want to live in a country that has no respect for the dead that fought, died and built such a great nation for our generation to just give it away to these extreme Islamic's Muslim folk.

Please don't get me wrong ... when I say, that I must contend for the faith which has been delivered to us through Jesus Our Lord. We our also taught to love our enemy as ourself ... and the way I read that is, I am to lead by example given to us by Christ ... I don't hate these people, but I love them enough to say that Islam is not of the truth and to try to presuade them thatthe Bible is the truth which they need to trust & obey. They need to become christians and I will do all that I can to help them to do so.

Have you been watching the Great Fish Fight on Channel 4 ?

With millions of people in third world countries that can't afford one very small meal a day and having the EU past laws on fish that are caught being thrown back dead into the sea is nothing more than totally disgraceful.

EU laws on fish discards are a disgrace and involves thousands of tons of good edible and sellable fish being dumped, dead, into the sea every year. EU fishery discards laws are offensive and reprehensible and are a good example of the total stupidity, ignorance, and arrogance of the unelected and unaccountable EU Comissioners in a foreign country. How could OUR, so called British POLITICIANS allow us to be governed by such idiots from that country's extravagant guilded palaces in Brussels ?

Surely with 5 Billion people that live in the world today that need to be feed ... this nonsense of throwing fish back into the sea because the EU Commissioners say's so, is totally immoral and should not be obeyed. It needs to be stopped from happening from this point on. This law needs to be dis-obeyed by all the fishermen that rely on this for a living. There has to be a better way to look after are fish stocks than to throw perfectly good fish that can be sold and eaten.

What's the most important concern for YOU ... ?

For me ... it has to be health.
Without your health, your life remains on hold.
It causes restrictions on the things that your able or unable to do.
I myself am heavily reliant on our NHS, without it my life would be unbearable.

Any Government that comes to power needs to make this a top priority ...
And the Doctors & Nurses should have the full backing behind them so that they can do the job
Their employed to do.

One particular case springs to mind of a gentleman named Terence D. Burch ... This man has been waiting for more than 600 days to be treated for his extreme health problems that he's had to endure for far to long. I want this man to be seen too as soon as possible and to recieve the urgent medical treatment he so richly needs and deserves without further delay. It is possible for his quality of life to be greatly improved. It is vital that he gets the help he needs and for his wife Angela to be able to take a well earnt rest from looking after her husband for so long without the proper help she has needed but has NOT been given by those who are most qualified to do so.
